To promote the cooperation between Tongji law school and the law school in German universities, and to improve and consolidate knowledge of German law for the students, between April 5th and 8th in 2016, Professor Axel Metzger from Humboldt University of Berlin gave lectures to postgraduate students from Tongji law school.

During the lectures, Professor Metzger made an introduction about General Regulation of German Civil Law.  About 10 students attended this course. Under his patient and helpful guidence, the students get a preliminary understanding of German Civil Law, especially of the General Regulation. This will absolutely build up a good basis for their further study of Civil Law in Germany this year and improve the research ability in the field of the comparative studies on German and Chinese Law.
